AG-LEGAL-001 — Alta Group Terms of Service
1. Overview
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of websites, applications, bots, Discord integrations, APIs, services, products, and other platforms operated by Alta Group N.V. or its subsidiaries.
By using any Alta service, the user agrees to follow these Terms and any additional rules, agreements, policies, or disclosures that apply to a specific service.
Alta Group may update these Terms at any time.
2. Alta Group and Subsidiaries
Alta Group N.V. is the parent company of the Alta ecosystem.
Alta Group may operate services directly or through subsidiaries, including but not limited to:
- Alta Bank;
- Alta Exchange;
- Alta Terminal as a product of Alta Exchange;
- Newport Clearing Corporation (“NCC”);
- Alta Solutions;
- Alta Law;
- Alta Stakes; and
- any future Alta subsidiary, product, or service.
A service may also be governed by additional terms from the applicable subsidiary. If there is a conflict, the more specific subsidiary agreement controls for that service unless Alta Group decides otherwise.
3. Minecraft and Roleplay Environment
Alta services are designed for use within Minecraft, Discord, roleplay communities, virtual economies, and related online environments.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- Alta services do not involve real-world banking;
- Alta services do not hold real-world deposits;
- Alta services do not provide real-world securities trading;
- Alta services do not provide real-world investment advice;
- Alta services do not provide real-world legal advice;
- balances, assets, currencies, accounts, securities, payments, or records may represent in-game, fictional, simulated, or roleplay value only.
Users are responsible for understanding the difference between roleplay services and real-world financial or legal services.
4. User Accounts
Users may be required to create an account, connect Discord, verify identity within the platform, or provide information to access certain Alta services.
Users agree to:
- provide accurate information;
- keep login credentials secure;
- not share accounts without permission;
- not impersonate another person or entity;
- not use another person’s account without authorization;
- notify Alta of unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
Alta may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts for rule violations, suspicious activity, abuse, fraud, security issues, or other reasonable business concerns.
5. User Conduct
Users may not use Alta services to:
- commit fraud;
- exploit bugs;
- manipulate markets;
- evade restrictions;
- abuse payment systems;
- harass users or staff;
- spam or disrupt services;
- impersonate staff, companies, banks, or institutions;
- submit false information;
- interfere with platform security;
- violate Discord, Minecraft server, or community rules;
- violate applicable laws or platform policies;
- use bots, scripts, automation, or scraping without approval;
- attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, data, or infrastructure.
Alta may investigate and take action against users who violate these Terms.
6. Platform Rules and Subsidiary Rules
Alta may publish service-specific rules, including:
- banking rules;
- account agreements;
- payment terms;
- merchant terms;
- exchange rules;
- listing rules;
- trading rules;
- API terms;
- NCC operating rules;
- fee schedules;
- dispute procedures;
- community rules;
- security policies.
Users agree to follow all rules that apply to the services they use.
7. Balances, Accounts, and Records
Alta may maintain records of user accounts, balances, transactions, holdings, listings, payments, transfers, invoices, fees, loans, settlements, and other activity.
Alta may correct, adjust, reverse, freeze, restrict, or investigate records when necessary to address:
- errors;
- duplicate transactions;
- fraud;
- abuse;
- unauthorized activity;
- rule violations;
- insufficient funds;
- platform issues;
- technical problems;
- security concerns;
- disputes;
- system integrity.
Alta’s records are the official records of Alta services unless Alta determines that a correction is required.
8. Payments, Transfers, and Transactions
Alta may operate payment, transfer, settlement, trading, invoice, and marketplace systems.
Alta may delay, reject, reverse, hold, cancel, review, or restrict transactions when necessary to protect users, merchants, institutions, Alta Group, subsidiaries, or platform integrity.
Alta is not responsible for losses caused by user error, incorrect account information, scams, external server rules, platform downtime, unauthorized account sharing, or third-party misconduct.
9. Fees
Alta may charge fees for certain products, services, transactions, subscriptions, accounts, listings, APIs, merchant tools, premium features, or other services.
Fees may be listed in a fee schedule, product page, invoice, agreement, or service-specific terms.
Alta may update fees at any time unless a specific agreement states otherwise.
10. No Guarantee of Availability
Alta services may be unavailable, delayed, interrupted, changed, or discontinued at any time.
Alta does not guarantee that any website, bot, Discord service, API, database, payment system, market, listing, account, or product will always be available or error-free.
Alta may perform maintenance, upgrades, emergency shutdowns, or service changes without prior notice.
11. Beta Services and Experimental Features
Alta may release beta, test, experimental, or unfinished features.
Beta features may contain errors, incomplete functionality, inaccurate information, or unexpected behavior.
Alta may modify, restrict, reset, or remove beta features at any time.
12. User Content
Users may submit content, including company profiles, listings, messages, documents, logos, descriptions, forms, applications, support tickets, trade information, and other materials.
Users are responsible for the content they submit.
By submitting content, users grant Alta permission to host, display, store, process, moderate, copy, and use that content as needed to operate Alta services.
Alta may remove, edit, restrict, or reject user content that violates rules, creates risk, misleads users, infringes rights, or harms platform integrity.
13. Intellectual Property
Alta Group owns or controls the Alta name, logos, brands, websites, software, bots, APIs, designs, documents, databases, systems, text, graphics, product names, and other intellectual property used in Alta services.
Users may not copy, sell, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, scrape, exploit, or reuse Alta intellectual property without written permission.
Using Alta services does not give users ownership of Alta intellectual property.
14. Third-Party Platforms
Alta services may operate through or connect to third-party platforms, including Discord, Minecraft servers, payment systems, hosting providers, APIs, or other services.
Alta is not responsible for third-party outages, bans, moderation decisions, rule changes, security issues, lost access, or platform failures.
Users must also follow the rules and terms of any third-party platform they use with Alta services.
15. Disputes and Support
Users may contact Alta support or follow published dispute procedures to report account issues, transaction problems, rule violations, fraud, bugs, or other concerns.
Alta may resolve disputes based on platform records, logs, screenshots, user submissions, staff review, and applicable service rules.
Alta’s decision is final unless Alta chooses to reopen or review the matter.
16. Enforcement
Alta may take enforcement action when it believes a user has violated these Terms, subsidiary rules, community rules, security rules, or platform integrity standards.
Enforcement actions may include:
- warning;
- account restriction;
- account freeze;
- transaction hold;
- transaction reversal;
- service suspension;
- service termination;
- merchant restriction;
- trading restriction;
- listing suspension;
- API restriction;
- Discord role or channel restriction;
- removal of content;
- denial of future access.
Alta may take immediate action without prior notice when necessary to protect the platform, users, subsidiaries, institutions, or Alta Group.
17. Termination
Users may stop using Alta services at any time.
Alta may suspend or terminate access to any service at any time for violations, risk, inactivity, abuse, fraud, security concerns, platform changes, or business reasons.
Termination does not cancel obligations that existed before termination, including fees, repayments, disputes, restrictions, or enforcement actions.
18. Disclaimers
Alta services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
Alta does not guarantee:
- uninterrupted service;
- error-free operation;
- profits;
- investment results;
- successful trades;
- successful listings;
- payment completion;
- account approval;
- merchant approval;
- loan approval;
- data accuracy at all times;
- compatibility with every server, bot, device, or platform.
Users use Alta services at their own risk.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by applicable rules and law, Alta Group, its subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and representatives shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from use of Alta services.
Alta’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the user to Alta for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the thirty days before the claim, unless a specific written agreement states otherwise.
20. Indemnification
Users agree to defend and hold harmless Alta Group, its subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and representatives from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:
- user misuse of Alta services;
- violation of these Terms;
- violation of subsidiary rules;
- user-submitted content;
- fraud, abuse, or misconduct;
- unauthorized account use;
- violation of third-party rights;
- violation of applicable laws, server rules, or platform rules.
21. Changes to Terms
Alta may update these Terms at any time.
Updated Terms become effective when posted, published, or otherwise made available.
Continued use of Alta services after an update means the user accepts the updated Terms.
22. Governing Authority
These Terms are governed by the internal rules, agreements, and dispute procedures adopted by Alta Group, together with any applicable real-world law that cannot be waived.
Nothing in these Terms limits Alta Group’s rights under its corporate governance documents.
23. Severability
If any section of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining sections remain in effect.
Alta may replace invalid provisions with valid provisions that most closely match the original purpose.
24. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with applicable subsidiary agreements, policies, rules, disclosures, and fee schedules, form the agreement between the user and Alta regarding use of Alta services.

26. Approval
These Terms are adopted by Alta Group N.V. as the platform-wide Terms of Service for Alta services.
