AE-LEGAL-005 — Alta Exchange Fee Schedule
1. Overview
This Fee Schedule lists the standard fees charged by Alta Exchange for trading, listings, Alta Terminal services, market data, APIs, and related Alta Markets services.
Alta Exchange operates the exchange, listing system, trading infrastructure, market data services, and APIs. Alta Terminal is the customer-facing trading and portfolio platform operated by Alta Exchange. Alta Markets is the public-facing brand for Alta Exchange, Alta Terminal, market data, APIs, and related services.
If a fee is not listed in this Fee Schedule or another written Alta Exchange agreement, then the fee is currently not charged.
Alta Exchange may update this Fee Schedule at any time.
2. Roleplay and Virtual Economy Notice
Alta Exchange is designed for use within Minecraft, Discord, roleplay communities, virtual economies, and related online environments.
Unless Alta Exchange clearly states otherwise in writing:
- fees are charged in the applicable in-game, fictional, simulated, or roleplay currency;
- fees do not represent real-world securities, brokerage, exchange, market data, or API fees;
- Alta Exchange does not operate a real-world securities exchange;
- Alta Terminal is not a real-world brokerage platform;
- Alta Markets APIs are not real-world financial market data APIs;
- Alta Exchange services do not create real-world securities, investment, banking, payment, legal, or financial rights.
3. Currency
Unless otherwise stated, Alta Exchange fees are charged in Newport Florins (ƒ) or the applicable currency used by the relevant Alta Markets service.
Alta Exchange may support other currencies if approved by Alta Exchange or Alta Group.
4. Trading Fees
Trading fees apply to executed trades on Alta Exchange, including trades submitted through Alta Terminal.

Alta Terminal is the customer-facing trading and portfolio platform operated by Alta Exchange.

Market data fees apply to use of Alta Markets market data, including quotes, prices, order book data, trade history, issuer information, charts, and related market information.

9. API Pro
API Pro is the paid premium API tier offered by Alta Exchange through the Alta Markets brand.
Unless changed by Alta Exchange, the standard API Pro fee is:

API Pro may include premium features such as:
- higher API rate limits;
- expanded market data access;
- expanded historical data access;
- premium endpoints;
- priority API support;
- webhooks;
- commercial-use review priority;
- developer dashboard features;
- other API tools approved by Alta Exchange.
Alta Exchange may add, remove, limit, or modify API Pro features at any time.
10. Billing
Fees may be charged to the relevant Alta Terminal account, Alta Bank account, business account, issuer account, developer account, invoice, or other approved billing method.
The customer, issuer, developer, or API user is responsible for maintaining sufficient funds to pay applicable fees.
If an account has insufficient funds, Alta Exchange may:
- retry billing;
- notify the user;
- place the subscription in a grace period;
- downgrade the service;
- restrict premium features;
- suspend API access;
- restrict market data access;
- restrict trading access;
- collect unpaid fees from available balances where allowed by Alta Exchange rules.
11. No Other Standard Fees Currently Charged
At the time of this Fee Schedule, Alta Exchange does not currently charge standard fees for:
- account opening;
- account maintenance;
- basic Alta Terminal access;
- basic market data access;
- standard public API keys;
- standard listing applications;
- initial listings;
- IPO review;
- issuer maintenance;
- corporate actions;
- dividend processing;
- failed orders;
- cancelled orders;
- rejected orders;
- standard statements.
Alta Exchange may introduce additional fees later by updating this Fee Schedule or publishing product-specific terms.
12. Special, Manual, or Custom Fees
Alta Exchange may charge special, manual, custom, negotiated, or case-specific fees if disclosed to the customer, issuer, developer, API user, or participant before or at the time the service is provided.
These may include fees for:
- custom API integrations;
- dedicated infrastructure;
- custom data exports;
- custom market data licenses;
- enterprise API access;
- special issuer work;
- special corporate action processing;
- manual administrative work;
- custom dashboards;
- premium support;
- large or unusual operations;
- products not listed in this Fee Schedule.
No special fee applies unless Alta Exchange clearly states it.
13. Fee Changes
Alta Exchange may update this Fee Schedule at any time.
Updated fees become effective when posted, published, or otherwise made available, unless Alta Exchange states a later effective date.
Continued use of Alta Exchange, Alta Terminal, Alta Markets, market data, APIs, or related services after a fee update means the customer, issuer, developer, or participant accepts the updated fees.
14. Fee Collection
Alta Exchange may collect fees by:
- deducting from an Alta Terminal account;
- deducting from trading proceeds;
- deducting from available cash balances;
- deducting from an Alta Bank account where allowed;
- issuing an invoice;
- requiring manual payment;
- using another approved billing method.
Alta Exchange may restrict, suspend, downgrade, or terminate services for unpaid fees.
15. Refunds of Fees
Fees are generally non-refundable unless Alta Exchange decides otherwise or a specific written agreement states otherwise.
Alta Exchange may issue fee refunds, credits, reversals, or adjustments at its discretion.
16. Relationship to Other Agreements
This Fee Schedule applies together with:
- Alta Terminal Customer Agreement;
- Alta Exchange Listing Agreement;
- Alta Exchange Trading Rules;
- Alta Markets Market Data & API Terms;
- Alta Group Terms of Service;
- Alta Group Privacy Policy;
- any applicable product-specific agreement or disclosure.
If another agreement lists a specific fee for a specific product, that specific fee controls for that product unless Alta Exchange states otherwise.
17. Approval
This Fee Schedule is adopted by Alta Exchange as the standard fee schedule for Alta Exchange, Alta Terminal, Alta Markets, market data, and API services.
